I really want to like S&P. I really appreciate what the owners/management have done to rescue the former Eisenberg’s. While it goes without saying that it’s not the same, the food now, IMO, is overpriced and overrated. Sorry.
Thanks for the patty melt history! It’s long been my favorite version of a burger—one that has a good toasted crunch and lots of melty cheese and onions is hard to beat. And as a history nerd, I’m glad to know I’ve long been tapping into something interesting. Will definitely give the S&P one a go.
And what about the veggie burgers?
Not fair to compare them, in my opinion, but good on their own and I'll hit them up in the future
Not usually an advocate for any chains, but the Shake Shack veggie burger is one of the best I’ve had.
Thanks for the tip!
